With more than twenty years of experience, PT. Sari Cakalang is a leading supplier and exporter of dried fish (Katsuobushi) and frozen fish products in the eastern region of Indonesia. To maintain quality of our products, our fish is caught by our own fleet of fishing vessels and our facilities are HACCP-certified. Apart from Katsuobushi and related products, our product portfolio also offers frozen fish, such as yellowfin, skipjack tuna, scad mackerel, deho, and fresh tuna.
PT. Sari Cakalang was founded in 1990 by the Sondakh family, as a fishing and trading company. The company specialized in fresh fish from local seas, such as skipjack tuna, yellowfin tuna, baby tuna, and scad mackerel. The business expanded to such an extent that the founding family saw the opportunity and started manufacturing Katsuobushi or dried skipjack tuna (dried bonito) which by 1998 had become the main focus of PT. Sari Cakalang.
